Born out of the ruins of The Alamo's last stand, situated on the El Camino Real Trail, the Crockett Tavern is the real Texas deal. Located in the historic Crockett Hotel, feet away from the perimeter walls of the legendary Alamo, the Tavern exists as a living reflection of the site of the infamous battle of nearly two centuries ago and of Davy Crockett, the storied frontiersman whose life and death provided the most remarkable narrative of it all.

You won't be disappointed, it's a great place to have lunch or dinner while visiting San Antonio. It was decorated beautifully. I loved everything about it the food, the service and our waitress. We had three different burgers, cesar salad and a burrito. It was all delicious. Their fries and onion rings are amazing! Thank you so much we really enjoyed your restaurant, your staff is amazing

Located in the Historic Crockett Hotel, the restaurant has a western bar feel. Awesomely decorated with cowboy hats and boots and historical artifacts. Good and drinks are excellent. Had the Deep Fried Eggplant, Chicken Fried Chicken. Live music was great! Not to loud where you couldn't have a conversation. Highly recommended!
