- ABOUT US
THE REAL Texas DEAL!
The surroundings tell their own tale. Old Bexar rock, repurposed oak and cedar beams create a canvas that harkens back to the days when Texas was a battleground for independence.
The Crockett Tavern claims its own immersive Alamo experience, where you are encouraged to touch and selfies are a must, including at the Chapel room, a rock mausoleum and a shrine to Texan Western brass sculptures.
Additionally, don’t miss the Tavern’s spectacular giant oil paintings of the Battles of St. Jacinto and The Alamo! Or, while on the history tour, take a photo in front of the rock rendition of Davy Crockett as depicted on the Cenotaph sculpture. The Crockett Tavern is also a restaurant and a place for live Texas country music!
